Definitely my most "extreme" dive so far, in a quarry filled with murky 6-degree water and visibility ranging from less than a meter near the surface to 2-3m at 15m depth.  First 5 min spent in "survival mode" just trying to recall my diving skills and stay alive, with my left leg cramping and my mask leaking for good measure.  But eventually we arrived at the bottom and went parallel to the slope to the sunken forest at the other end of the pit, skeletons of trees looming in the yellowish-green water -- eerie!  Some perch and a solitary crab spotted.  Around T-20 my leg cramps started to be a bit too much and to be on the safe side I aborted the dive, doing a controlled exit with a safety stop.
